It’s not always about you.
We have discussed the importance of knowing who you are and understanding your brand’s unique personality. To effectively leverage that knowledge, your business need to understand that it is not always about you, you, you. No matter how sleek, new, hip or professional a brand is, if it does not know how to connect emotionally with customers, it will not reach its potential. Connecting emotionally and drawing customers in requires an understanding of them. It requires putting your feelings about your brand on the back burner and understanding the changing, dynamic needs and feelings of your audience. This broader view of who you are that incorporates who your customers are will allow your brand to stay relevant and successful even through difficult times.
